Beyang Liu

Beyang is the co-founder and CTO of Sourcegraph, the company behind Sourcegraph Code Search and Cody, the most popular open-source AI coding assistant. Sourcegraph accelerates millions of developers working in codebases ranging from open source to companies like Reddit, Databricks, Uber, Canva, Redfin, Palo Alto Networks and Leidos. Sourcegraph’s tech combines AI with compilers and large-scale search to make AI much more helpful for working in existing codebases. Beyang started his career working on software for some of the largest banks as an engineer at Palantir, where he brought a background in machine learning and data analysis at Stanford.
