About the All Things Open Conference

All Things Open is a technology conference focusing on the tools, processes and people making open source possible. Our sophisticated and diverse audience is a technical one that includes designers, developers, decision makers, entrepreneurs and technologists of all types and skill levels.

The conference takes place in downtown Raleigh, NC at the Raleigh Convention Center, a state-of-the-art and modern venue located within walking distance of attractions, entertainment, and the world-wide headquarters of leading tech and open source companies.

A little history…

Our deep commitment to open source technologists and community remains as steadfast as ever. Since the first conference in 2013 we have had 40,000+ register for the conference, hosted over 1,800 speakers, and featured 1,950+ sessions.

A look back at 2023…

Our 11th conference featured more than 200 sessions and 200 speakers, and more than 4,300 registered from 41 states and 32 countries.

The 2024 event will take place Sunday, October 27 through Tuesday, October 29 at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh, NC USA. The Convention Center is located at 500 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

We are planning to record select content at this year’s event. We will announce details at a later date. 

We are excited to once again feature two co-located events at ATO 2024: Inclusion & Diversity in Open Source and the Community Leadership Summit (CLS) on Sunday, October 27. Both are FREE to attend, but registration is required.
