We have two data centers, each with a Percona XtraDB Cluster. The clusters are loosely coupled via asynchronous replication between their head nodes. Such setup assures geo-redundancy well. However, we found that if the same row is changed in both clusters, one of the clusters can stall because of a replication conflict. We describe how we debugged and resolved the PXC-4318 issue in collaboration with Percona.
